Experience

Hi! I'm Missy - I'm a 30s mom and middle/high school math teacher with 10 years under my belt. I'm here to make your life in the middle/secondary math classroom SOOO much easier for you AND your students! I started creating products to use in my classroom and found success with my students. If you ever have any questions or suggestions - please don't hesitate to reach out! I am always open to feedback and love to get your input!! And hey - you've got this!

Teaching style

I love for my students to work together - in partners or in groups. Sometimes they learn the same material much better from a peer than from a teacher. My works allow students to actively engage with another, but for those who like to work on their own, the pieces I create are easily available for those students as well. "When am I ever going to need this?" Sound familiar? I like to make math applicable to the real-world but when I can't always do that, I try to take a creative approach to many of my projects that students don't necessarily expect to see in a typical (old-school) math classroom, and they love it!

Awards & shining teacher moments

Teaching my amazing students is an honor in itself - who needs an official award for that?!

My own education history

I've now completed my Master's in Curriculum and Teaching, and I hold a Bachelor's in Mathematics with a focus in Secondary and Middle Education. I'm certified in MA to teach math to grades 5-12.

Additional biographical information

I'm a mom to two beautiful girls who inspire me to shoot for the stars. My husband and I want to show them that they can achieve anything if they put the work in. So here I am, putting my work in to help teachers like you achieve your big goals! I'm heading into year 11 and I cannot believe I am into double-digits in my teaching career, but I am here to support you - wherever you are in your teaching journey!
