About the store
I started my career as an accountant. I taught economics, science, and mathematics at a small high school for many years. After earning my masters degree in math, I began teaching at the community college level. My children have renewed my interest in K-12 mathematics and I have been rewarded by discovering a blossoming online math community from which I can learn and develop as a college instructor.

Students test their engineering and design skills and show school pride while learning about American history and symbolism. Addition Subtraction Word Problem Review
Examples and problems are given for addition and subtraction with an array of word problem presentations: sum of the parts makes a whole, missing-addend, take-away method, comparison method, and missing minuend. Students are encouraged to write their own words problems and solve them using drawings and equations.
