About the store
I started my career as an accountant. I taught economics, science, and mathematics at a small high school for many years. After earning my masters degree in math, I began teaching at the community college level. My children have renewed my interest in K-12 mathematics and I have been rewarded by discovering a blossoming online math community from which I can learn and develop as a college instructor.

Students will be introduced to musical notation: staff, time signatures, and note/rest duration. Music is used to convey whole, half, quarter, eighth, etc. and related to equations with fractions. Patterns: Pascals Triangle and Fractions
Students learnt about Pascal's Triangle and create a fraction triangle. The activity culminates with students drawing representation of the triangle depicting that each row adds to one.
