At the center of this presentation, students will compare and contrast the difference between repeated addition and repeated multiplication. This google slides is a great way to introduce dividing fractions using the DSR (Drop, Swap, Reciprocal) method. The "Pros" of using this method is that academic vocabulary is increased by using the word "reciprocal" instead of "flip" or "change". Students will learn what a reciprocal and a multiplicative inverse is. This Slides with animations is best followed by drill practice.
