PBL: Using Addition/Subtraction/Estimating to plan a trip to GA Habitats

What better way to incorporate real world problems while teaching STEM! Students use their knowledge from GA Habitat research from GA Science standards to plan a trip for their teacher. This trip needs to be under budget and added/estimated to make the trip affordable. Students will research, plan and prepare where to go in GA while convincing the teacher to visit their town!

This activity will allow you to bring a hands on investigation to the GA Piedmont region while studying the GA Habitat Unit! Students will find trees according to the leaves and observe why those trees do well in the Piedmont region of GA.
