UPDATED AS OF 4/28/24 with revisions and rubric Hello! If you're looking for a geometry project that covers surface area, area, angle measurements, and naming angles, this is perfect! This project requires students to design a dream home for their teacher (change the name on the project to your name) and use their mathematical skills to find the total area of your dream home. There's a creative bonus to the project. It also includes instructions for students to create a physical model home. T
This is a mini-lesson on geometric rotations. The lesson includes 6 examples that you can walk through with your students. It also includes a key to all of the problems so that you can have students check their own work/or you can review it with them. The lesson includes the rules for each type of rotation and examples of each. This mini-lesson should take about 15-30 minutes, depending on how you want to pace the practice problems.
