Factoring Trinomials ax^2+bx+c a>1

Factoring Trinomials ax^2+bx+c with a > 1. Three of the ten standard form trinomials have a greatest common factor that needs to be factored out first. One of the ten uses i as the variable to help screen out students using on-line solvers. If that is the only answer the student gets wrong, check for a solver. Both a traditional printable (PDF worksheet) and an excel puzzle reveal are included with this resource. The answer key is also included.

Transformations - Reflection in the Coordinate Plane

Transformation mini-project. Students draw and then reflect one of their initials, beginning in the second quadrant. Includes an I CAN statement and a grading rubric. Both graphical and algebraic reflection is included. I am working on cleaning up variations for the other transformations to make this a bundle if this seems useful to others. The kids love it - since they do always like things better when they are about them. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Mrs. Saraceno's Math
