My students really look forward to my estimation jar each month, and I hope yours will too! Use it as an "estimation station" or pass the jar around to each student. It can even

Experience

Going into my 18th year of teaching math this Fall 2025. My resources are geared toward higher level thinking and problem solving for students learning 6th grade math curriculum.

Teaching style

I create a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere by connecting my students to the content and the lessons. I use manipulatives, centers, UDL menus, technology, pop culture, and student interests to make lessons more engaging. I use discovery lessons, and I teach the meaning behind the math. My students often work collaboratively to discuss problems, come to solutions, and correct misconceptions.
