This is a great worksheet for students learning how to convert units, giving them insight to real world landmarks as well as converting measurements about their own lives (age, height, ect.). Part 1: Tall Tales Students will use facts given to them about the specific Landmarks worldwide and convert their height, length and depth into other units they may be more familiar with. Teaching style

Discovery Based Learning is what my teaching preference is. Allowing students to take responsibility for their learning and guiding them through the process helps make the content "stick" better than presenting it through lecturing. They also enjoy the various activities and differentiation the DBAs allow.
