This activity is best used for 4th through 7th grade and is great for the day before Thanksgiving when many students are absent. They have to solve around 100 addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems. They then use the grid on the other side to create a picture of a turkey. My students love to color it in and post the finished products on Instagram and on my website.
This works just like BINGO only its called MATHO. Students scatter the given answers on their game board. Then you call out random problems from the top of the page. They copy them down on a separate sheet of paper and solve them. Then they shade in the space that has the answer. These are all one-step equations. I have used this several times and it is a great activity. To win, they have to shade in their game board to match one of the letters on the bottom of the MATHO page.
