One Step Equation BINGO MATHO
This works just like BINGO only its called MATHO. Students scatter the given answers on their game board. Then you call out random problems from the top of the page. They copy them down on a separate sheet of paper and solve them. Then they shade in the space that has the answer. These are all one-step equations. I have used this several times and it is a great activity. To win, they have to shade in their game board to match one of the letters on the bottom of the MATHO page.

Multi-step Equation MATHO BINGO

They copy them down on a separate sheet of paper and solve them. Then they shade in the space that has the answer. These are all multi-step equations including the distributive property, combining like terms and fractions. I have used this several times and it is a great activity. To win, they have to shade in their game board

Experience
I have been teaching for 13 years at a middle school in Avon Lake Ohio.

Mostly direct instruction with a lot of review games and activities that give the students time to practice on their own.

Last year my awesome students got me the MonStar Teacher of the Month award. It was so much fun and I got to go to a Monsters hockey game with my family and my students. It was so much fun.
