This can be used as a cut and glue activity for an interactive notebook or as a laminated activity to use as reinforcement in the classroom. Two sets per page.

This activity includes: · Matching cards (page 2, four sets with six problems and answers each) · Answer key (page 3) This is a quick activity for students to match word phrases to mathematical phrases. Words that students struggle with were used to create these. All answers include x and 5 in order to cause students to have to really think about what operations are being used in the phrase.

Students will match the algebraic steps to solve a factoring word problem to the process steps written out in words.
