Students will match numbers in scientific notation to the correct number in standard form. All cards use the numbers 0, 1, 3, and 4 so that students really have to think about what they are matching. Two ways to use: 1. Cut cards and students work on their own or in a group to match the cards. 2. Give one card to each student. They can walk around the room until they find the person who has the match to their card. They would then sit with their partner. Any extra cards can be pulled out bef

This activity can be used as a cut and paste or a laminated activity. Each student/partner would receive the real number mat (first page) and one set of sorting cards (3 per page).
