Math worksheet 036 - Which quadrant?
This worksheet contains 30 diagrams of various polygons and shapes, drawn on graphs. Students must examine each graph and determine which of the 4 quadrants the shape lies in. Answers are also included (written in red). Please examine the screenshots of the worksheet to get an idea of the layout of the sheet. Christmas cards
This has very little to do with math or any of the science subjects I teach. But kids love colouring in, so I simply made this for my students one day and decided to let them colour it in, in one of the "Joker week" lessons scheduled in my school shortly before the christmas holidays.

Teaching style
I like to challenge the students and create activities that make them scratch their heads and have to think about a topic or situation. I try to make each topic as applicable to everyday examples as I can. Being able to regurgitate information is one thing, but I like to see students thinking outside the box.
My own education history
Bachelor or science Education (Honours), Taught masters in Software localisation.
Additional biographical information
I come from Ireland, but have lived and worked in an environment that is mostly concerned with American curriculum or British curriculum, in that time teaching mainly Math and the three Sciences (chemistry, physics and biology, as well as ecology and environmental science etc) and English as a language.
