Thanks for taking the time to view my product. This product contains 20 mental arithmetic practice questions, in the shape of ovals. The pupils must start at the number calculation in red. They write their answers to the box in the right of this and follow the arrows until the final box is complete. There is a second version of the same set of questions, with the final answer in the middle of the oval. This is to allow the students to self – check their own work, leaving the teacher more time

Teaching style

I like to challenge the students and create activities that make them scratch their heads and have to think about a topic or situation. I try to make each topic as applicable to everyday examples as I can. Being able to regurgitate information is one thing, but I like to see students thinking outside the box.

My own education history

Bachelor or science Education (Honours), Taught masters in Software localisation.

Additional biographical information

I come from Ireland, but have lived and worked in an environment that is mostly concerned with American curriculum or British curriculum, in that time teaching mainly Math and the three Sciences (chemistry, physics and biology, as well as ecology and environmental science etc) and English as a language.
