Order of Operations Task Card Activity
Students practice simplifying numerical expressions using order of operations. There are a total of 12 task cards + 4 bonus task cards.
Students can check their solutions to the initial 12 problems by scanning the QR code on the card. An internet connection is not required but students will need access to a device with a QR scanning app.

Experience
Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
Teaching style
I like to provide my students with detailed and structured notes, followed by fun activities that encourage them to practice their mathematical skills and take risks with challenging problems.
I have found that detailed and structured notes alleviate some of the anxiety that comes with learning higher-level mathematical skills.
My own education history
I am fortunate to have obtained a rigorous secondary education at Milford High School in Milford, Ohio. I am indebted to the amazing teachers at MHS who encouraged me and honed me in becoming a critical and analytical thinker.
