I've taught at the elementary level for 14+ years in a variety of states including Ohio, Florida, Texas, and Georgia. One more state and my bingo card will be full. =) Currently I am an assistant principal in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Getting students to understand the relationship between their actions and the negative consequences associated with them is a hard thing. Many times students perceive punishments as somethign independent of their actions. These sheet are developed for grades K-2 and 3-5 in mind. The sooner students can accept that their are consequences attached to every decision, the sooner they can begin to modify their choices.

Student Sticker Charts

A very useful tool when used in tandem with the Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS) clipboard chart. These sticker charts are intended to motivate individual students. Students earn stickers for a variety of actions throughout the school day (NOT just for academic reasons). Students that complete their chart can come up to get a prize out of the treasure box.
