This set included 6 numbered wheels and 1 blank wheel for practicing basic facts. Wheels have numbers 1 -11 placed differently on each wheel. Copy onto cardstock and laminate or use in a plastic sleeve. Students write an operation and an addend or factor in the center of a wheel. Student then adds or multiplies each number on the circle and writes the answer in the outer section of the circle. These problems are formatted like the multiplication and division structures in Teaching Student Centered Mathematics by John Van de Walle and LouAnn Lovin. There are 34 problems that can be cut and laminated for repeated use. There is also a work mat that can be used with centimeter cubes or other small counters. The mat can be laminated for students to draw sets/solutions.

This blank multiplication grid has many uses. Students can fill in facts as they explore with manipulatives or master facts. It is great to blow up and make a poster for the classroom and track how many facts students have already learned. It is a good tool when teaching the commutative property as well.

This mat can be used as a work mat for discovery or as a quick assessment. Students write a number in the center star and then work to find equal groups, arrays, and other ways to represent the multiplication.
