1st Grade Second Nine Weeks Skills Overview
This is a Skills Overview for 1st grade that I put in my students' school to home folder. I have one for each nine weeks. It gives the parents an idea of what skills will be covered and is a quick study guide. It also helps to keep track of their child's weaknesses. I have seen some other overviews and have taken from several styles to make this one for our school.

Center Checklist
I use this checklist in my first grade classroom. I give to students on Monday and they keep in their center folder. They have center tasks to complete each week plus their daily 5. The checklist helps keep them on target and makes it easy for me to keep track of their center work. Two designs.

Comes in handy for schools needing quarterly benchmarks.

Teaching style
I try to incorporate as many styles and techniques as possible into my teaching. Every student is unique and learns differently so I use many various methods to make sure they all have an opportunity to do so. My favorite part of our day is when I have my students share with one another what they've learned that day. Sometimes it becomes peer tutoring and I love to see them teach each other!
