This product was made to use with Texas 4th graders. As a teacher one of the things we are always limited on is time!! So I created this as a 10 day STAAR READINESS Review strategy that should take 15-20 minutes. All the questions hit the 13 Readiness standards of 4th graders. In this cross-curricular lesson students must research about a region in Texas. They then must find 10 cities in that region and find the population of 6 of these cities. They then must convert these 6 populations into Expanded Notation and write them out in word form. Finally, the students must create a brochure about their region.
