This is a worksheet I created for students to practice double digit addition with and without regrouping.
Students can work in pairs or alone to complete this activity.
Student 1 will roll 2 dice and write the number in the roll 1 spot then student 2 will roll the dice and record the number in the roll 2 spot. They will then transfer the numbers to the boxes. There is a space provided for students to draw base then blocks to help them solve regrouping.
Once students record the numbers they
Use this game to practice using a number line and the counting on addition strategy.
Students will take turns rolling dice and counting on to twenty on a number line. There is also a recording page so the students can write number sentences for each problem.
