This is an activity where students write the where and when of the setting they see in the picture. They should also connect this to what types of characters they would see in this setting to help them make the connection that certain characters belong in certain settings.

Directions: Write or draw the time on the clocks. Cut out the clock and glue on the time sort page. Use this activity as extra practice for writing and drawing time. Also as practice for understanding the difference with time to the hour and time to the half hour. Could also be used as a quick assessment check.

I created this informational writing template for my students to create informational writing books. They brainstorm a topic and facts using the prewriting pages. The book includes a cover, table of contents, a couple pages with handwriting lines and picture boxes, full picture page with caption box, glossary, and an editing checklist. Use this product to have your students practice counting coins. Print and laminate for durability. Place cards at seats around the room and have children scoot and answer each card. This can be used as a fun way to practice or even a formative assessment. The kids will love scooting and rotating around the room! Answer key is provided
