This project was designed to have my Foods students trace the origin of their food from start to finish. There are a few pre-work questions that are specific to Squamish, BC. Just change that name to your own location. The marking rubric is included. You may allow students to choose beyond the listed food and drink items if you so desire.

A Nutrition Research Project that is designed to cover the curriculum of a Foods, Home Ec. or lower level Science Biology. Rubric is included with the project. Has a list of Macro and Micro nutrients that can be covered, but has room for extension and addition.

A Foods and Nutrition or Science resource - Students will research and create a presentation on Foodborne Illnesses or Diseases. I ask my student to use MLA Works Cited Format when citing sources.

A community activism project designed to focus students into helping with one specific issue at play in their local community. Can be used to engage students in groups or solo.

A Project I Built for Science 7/8 as a multi-modal assignment to target kids who expressed their knowledge via art and physicality.

A quick and simple research project on major human inventions to tie up a science or socials unit. Keyed towards the 1700's-2000's.
