This PowerPoint activity contains 3 parts that deal with the Royal Family of Spain, the painting "Charles IV of Spain and His Family", and family vocabulary and relationships in Spanish. Part 1: Students must complete a family tree of the current Royal Family of Spain. Part 2: Students will recreate the classic painting "Charles IV of Spain and His Family" with new, modern faces of their choice. Part 3: Students will write sentences in Spanish explaining how the people in their recreation

This PowerPoint or Google Slides activity asks students to choose a Hispanic or Latino artist of their choice and provide photos and basic information about them on their slide. I use this activity as a shared Google Slides, and when students are finished, I print out the slides 2 per page to make a bulletin board about Hispanic and Latino artists. This is a great activity for Hispanic Heritage Month, or I use it with Chapter 2 of the Autentico 3 series about the arts.
