This is a lesson I use for my Literal equations for Algebra I. This is a very lite look at literal equations. I focus mainly on those when we start solving for y. This is just an intro lesson that takes about 45 minutes to do. It includes notes, practice problems and homework problems.

This product helps Algebra I kick off the year with a bang! This product includes scaffolding notes for all students. It is designed for a direct teach with practice problems included so that the teacher can walk around helping students. I teach for about 10 minutes, then walk around helping during the practice time assisting struggling students. I encourage students to help each other and compare answers during the practice problem time. This lesson is designed for 1-2 days class time depend

This product follows my multi-step equations notes. This is a short notes worksheet followed by a few inequalities problems for homework. It is a shorter lesson designed to be a follow up to solving multistep equations. It should take about 45 minutes. It is a direct teach lesson with built in practice problems that allow you time to walk around and help struggling students.
