Rotations in the Coordinate Plane
This file has everything you need for an Interacitve Notebook page for your students on Rotations...well everything put an old fashioned paper faster. Graph paper and spinner are provided in the document, they line up with points on the coordinate grid. Students spin the manipulative to different quadrants to see rotations about the origin. They also use the manipulative to discover the formulas for 90, 180, 270, and 360 degree rotations.

Experience
I have taught in rural county in North Carolina for the past eight years.
Teaching style
I used to be big on lecture then practice. Our state recently adopted the Common Core Curriculum and that has forced me out of my comfort zone, it an excellent way. I now love to do discovery based activities with my students and they especially love "arts and crafts" days in my class.
