Students are asked to take a "group" and divide it. The bottom half of the activity requires students to turn the worded questions into actual division number sentences. This is a great activity to use in a math center or during station teaching.

About the store

Experience

My experience is with students from the age of 10 to 22. I teach all different levels of Special Education and am highly qualified in the areas of Math (basic operations, pre-algebra, algebra 1, an algebra 2), Science (physical science and chemistry), and ELA (I and II).

Teaching style

My philosophy is simple; teach students in the best modality that they learn. I enjoy teaching in stations and centers. That way, students have built in motor breaks. I embrace true co-teaching and have had the great fortune of working and collaborating with the best of the best!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was awarded the Special Education Teaching Scholarship. I was inducted and served in the Sigma Rho Epsilon Honors Fraternity.

My own education history

I graduated from Mother McAuley HS in 2006. I earned my BA from EIU in 2010.

Additional biographical information

I am happily married with one little guy and a baby on the way. I absolutely love spending time with my family, friends, and pets. My additional photography business keeps life busy and interesting. Go Chicago Blackhawks!.
