Started teaching in 2015 in Title I schools. That is where my heart is at in terms of student population. Have taught everything from 7th grade math to Algebra II.
A Pythagorean Theorem activity to practice finding the missing value (both hypotenuse and legs). Answers are rounded to one decimal place. If you have an honors/GT class, take a look at my Pythagorean Theorem Project idea/concept activity. I really like it but it will be relatively challenging. Please leave feedback, positive or negative. Hope you enjoy the free activity.
This is a quick practice for simplifying radicals. Before this activity, I plan on going over with my students how to simplify radicals (like the first five questions), then with multiplying (next 5 questions), and lastly rationalizing the denominator (last 5 questions). Using this as a quick refresh before going into Pythagorean Theorem. The answer is UNCOPYRIGHTABLE. Enjoy my free activity, and please leave a review if you have a second.
