I've been teaching for over twenty-eight years. During that time, I have taught first through fourth grade and one year as a reading resource teacher for K-3. I am also ESOL and gifted certified.
This tic-tac-toe game is place value in the hundreds place. The board shows numbers in the hundreds. The cards show four different ways to show the numbers on the board. They include: word form, expanded form, number values, and quick draw. You can use the cards along with the game board or on their own as a memory game. I also included one game board with the directions but no numbers, one game board with no directions or numbers and a blank page of game cards.
This game is a fun way to reinforce place value in the tens and ones. The cards can also be used for a matching game.
- 3 game boards (one with directions and numbers, one with no directions and numbers and one ith no directions or numbers)
-64 place value cards (word form, expanded form, base-ten blocks, tens and ones)
-8 blank cards
I desperately needed labels for my tubs and cubbies and couldn't find any that met my needs. Soooo, I decided to create my own (and got very carried away)! I DID keep the color scheme simple: black, white, yellow. This package includes: Labels for tubs/ blank labels (Of course!) Name tags More blank labels :) Word Wall letters Table numbers Months of the year/ abbrev. and days of the week/ abbrev. Cubbie numbers/ calendar numbers One hundred number strip Certificates Behavior chart
I created an even/odd sort that varies in difficulty. It includes:
connecting cubes cards
ten frame cards
number cards: 1-digit up to 3-digits
You could use the connecting cubes cards and ten frame cards to introduce or reteach this skill. It also includes a recording sheet for students to write the answers.
I had so much fun creating Hollywood labels for my classroom and decided to try stars. This package includes:
Months of the Year labels
Numbers 1-31 in yellow and black or white and black
5 different sizes in labels at can be used for a variety of things like name tags or folder numbers.
Hope you like it! Let me know what you think and if there is anything I can do to make it better or add to it. :)

Teaching style
I am always looking for ways to integrate my curriculum. I love to create projects that connect to their writing and giving my students more choices in the types of products they can make along with the curriculum.
My own education history
I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education at St. Leo College, my ESOL certification in 2007, and my gifted endorsement in 2014.
Additional biographical information
I have been married for thirty-one years to my husband. We have three amazing children and two adorable grandchildren.
