Bee-do, Bee-do, Bee-do. This is FUN way to practice graphing points. Students plot points standard coordinate plane then "connect the dots" as they go. As This worksheet takes about 30-60 minutes to complete (depending on the student) and can be used for review or sub plans.

This is a fun graphing activity that I developed as cross-curricular activity for my seventh grade students. It works well for emergency sub plans or as an introduction to graphing. The students plot a series of points on a coordinate plane (connecting the dots as they go). When they finish, they will have created a map of the United States. Students plots points and connect points in order to create a spiraling hexagons. Then color their designs to dazzling, symmetrical patterns. This activity requires a high level of precision. Precise placement of points and rules are a must! It is challenging, but your students will be rewarded with a spectacular design!
