As a middle school inclusion teacher, I use this template to organize my IEP binder. After receiving a copy of each of my students' IEPs, I add their information to this list so that later I can "glance" at their accommodations/ modifications. This file keeps me organized and allows me to make SURE I am meeting each one of my students' needs.
As a teacher I display these agenda slides on my board at the beginning of every class. My students all know to come in, read the slides, and then immediately start working on the "do now". This is a great organizational tool that allows teachers to establish and maintain an easy "bell ringer" routine. This also stops my students from asking "what are we doing?" at the beginning of every class. :)

This is a fun agenda template that you can use to help your students stay organized. I post this agenda in google classroom to keep my students on track each day. This is great for students that have been absent or for remote learning. Below you will see an example of what my daily agenda looks like filled out. I love to put my bitmoji on each slide. :) Each month also has a different theme to keep it fun! In order to make a copy for each day in a month, simple duplicate the original slide for
I use this Flow Map with my middle school students as a way to "chunk" directions into manageable, sequential steps. You can print this template, laminate it, and then have students write on it with dry erase markers OR you can put it in google slide as a digital log. If you put it in google slides, make it the background for your slides and simply add text boxes over the top.
On the first day of school I ask my students to fill out/ decorate this banner that is "all about them". For my students that are tech savy, I also give them the option to create the digital version of this banner. I would then just print it out when they are done. When all the banners are done we hang them around the classroom.
On the first day of school I ask the students to tell me one thing about themselves that will help me best facilitate their learning. This information is only for me and is kept 100% private. This quick activity is a great way to get to know your students and give them an opportunity to share important information that is not in the school files. This is an especially great way for students to share their nicknames, preferred pronouns, living arrangements (divorced parents, moving, etc.) , and m
On the first day of school I use this activity to get my students moving around and talking to their peers. The characteristics in each box of this bingo game are intended for middle school students. Have fun!
At the beginning of the year I go over these safety rules with my students and then again before we conduct any lab experiments. I also post these rules in my classroom. :)
Every year I ask my students to tell me one thing they believe I NEED to know about them. This activity builds community AND gives the students an opportunity to share something important about themselves.
