About the store
I was a public school teacher for several years and loved it! I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade on level math, 7th grade pre-ap math, and all middle levels math intervention. All of my materials are aligned to the new Texas TEKS adopted in 2012. I find students have the most rewarding learning experiences when they are able to work hands on and engage with the material. I have been trained extensively in QTEL (Quality teaching for english learners), Kagan Cooperative Learning Strategies and Structures, and CHAMPS. I now stay home with 4 kids and have begun writing instructional resources for preschool and lower levels!

RELAY RACE Adding & Subtracting Decimals

Relay Race Bundle: Students work in partners and the answer to the first question is one of the numbers that goes into the next question! This style makes it impossible to work ahead or cheat! It’s great because each partner has to rely on the other and has to help them. Getting a correct answer is dependent on the other person’s previous answer. Each student has an independent practice question at the bottom that you can take for a daily grade or quiz grade!

Study of Important People

Included is a 10-week study of important people throughout history. This is a basic outline (+activities) that can be as involved or quick as you'd like to make it! It can be used for children as young as 3 all the way up through elementary school. Included are all of my recommendations, but if used for upper elementary school I recommend scaling the books being used or getting chapter books from the local library for children to read independently.
