Students work in groups to design their own city. The powerpoint slides direct students to; decide where their city is located in the world, draw maps using keys/legends to show the layout of their city and it's facilities, create a climate graph which represents the average max and min temperatures and rainfall for the city, city details, history and government, and tourism. There is also a component for students to create a tourism pamphlet advertising the tourism aspects of their city.
This activity works well when projected onto a whiteboard and writing in the answers together with the class while discussing the purpose of each part of the Water Cycle. Answer sheet is included.
