Once laminated, students use play dough on these boards. Students can subtract numbers 1-6. To start off students roll play dough balls onto the board. Once students know their subtraction problem, they will smash the specific number of balls. For example, if they have an equation that is 6-3 students would smash 3 play dough balls.

Students match four scoops of ice cream with a cone to specific numbers. The ice cream cones will all have: a cone, an equation, base ten blocks, place value, and the number written out.
