After researching the innovative ideas that have come from the young and evolving science of Biomimicry, students are give the choice of two final projects. I created this logic grid as a fun, engaging, and memorable way for my gifted students to be introduced to Haiku. Once they learned the word, through this short brain teaser, we began a poetry unit comparing many forms of poetry from around the world.
