Experience

I have been a teacher since 2003. I started out as a Reading Intervention Specialist. I have also taught Second and Third Grade and worked with students in first through fourth grades in the Title 1 Math program. Since 2009 I have worked in Gifted Education. Teaching style

My goal is to encourage my students to inquire, question, think outside of the box, work collaboratively, learn, unlearn, and relearn throughout their educational journey. I want for them to leave my classroom with the skills to be resourceful, driven, creative, and unafraid of taking educational risks.

My own education history
