A great activity to finish up the year! This Bingo Game was created to go with the Disney XD show Gravity Falls, but could work with any number of shows. This Bingo game asks students to identify important literary terms and situations in a cute and insightful cartoon about twins spending the summer with their strange great uncle and his Mystery Shack that seems to be a lightning rod for other worldly occurrences.
This form is both a detention slip and a reflection sheet. Students will return the detention slip with their signature, their parent's signature, and a behavior reflection to help them keep from making the same mistake again.

Keeping track of the students who are missing their homework can get frustrating. Keeping parents informed can be even more frustrating! Take care of both with this simple handout! It is great to start the class off with a Do Now activity. Put this sign outside your door with the activity. When the students come into the classroom they grab the activity and sit right down and get started! This eliminates the wandering and chatting that can occur before they go and get the assignment and get to work!
