Have students form concrete connections of weathering and erosion through three fun science stations! Each station focuses on a specific part of the process of weathering and erosion, allowing them to experience the process! The packet includes the three stations, along with their directions, prediction questions, and result questions!

For this lab, students will be asking themselves the following question: Is the lamp a solution or a mixture? What are the solutes versus the solvent in the mixture or solution? For this science activity, students are using what they have learned about mixtures and solutions to create a personified writing piece! Imagine if mixtures and solutions were people, and their combined substances were a friendship or even family relationship! What would the relationship be like? This activity is a fun way for students to demonstrate their understanding of the order of operations!
