Editable Math puzzles and questions worksheet, not specific to a certain subject, maybe for a substitute day. Problem solving or logic puzzles. THREE worksheets each with 5 problems and answer key on last page so take that out first :)
This is a powerpoint game with answer slides review simplifying rational expressions, solving rational equations, and graphing rational functions. Also included: Finding area and perimeter of shapes with rational expressions, and direct, inverse, and joint variation. This game is set up as a ZAP! Review game but can be used for any type of review game you play in your class!
These task cards are for algebra 1 or algebra 2 review of linear systems. Problems include: 1. Fraction equations 2. Fraction solutions 3. No solution 4. Infinite Solutions 5. Choosing the best method 6. Word Problems
This worksheet has 3 problems, graphs and directions for graphing quadratic functions. One in standard form, vertex form, and intercept form.
It can be used as a warm up, exit ticket, quiz, or other resource.
I used it as review of graphing before doing The Secondary Classroom IS Fun Too's Quadratic Stations:

Two sets of review cards for all quadratic topics. Each card has a different topic for quadratics. I had students work in A/B pairs so their partner didn't have the same questions. This was around Halloween so they got a small candy for Phase 1, a medium candy for Phase 2, and so on...We called it Math or Treating! Answer Key attached. I printed these on colored paper and attached cards to a ring.
This is a 25 slide midterm review for Algebra 2. I used it as a bingo game where I showed students a list of the answers to go on their bingo sheet. They created the sheet and we played with this powerpoint but it can be used for any game that you play.
Topics include:
Quadratics (graphing, solving, complex solutions)
Simplifying radical expressions and solving equations
Exponent Rules
Finding Inverses
Composition of Functions
This is a PowerPoint to play Zap! Review game for Quadratics.
The PowerPoint has questions and answers to review for a Quadratics Unit in Algebra 2 or Algebra 1.
You could play using any game format but I used the Zap! Review game.
If you would like to use this game I got it from this blog...

I used a piece of poster board, little envelopes pre-made from ACE and laminated the index cards to make them last longer. I've used th
This is a full review worksheet in a word document for editing. It labels what chapter each section came from in our book but feel free to edit. There is also a quick facts page of all important topics and hints for this chapter. Key is attached at the end. Study guide for all things linear!
Students will fill in formulas for each type of factoring and complete an example on each. The first page is directions I hung on the wall, I used this as a station. One station was graphing on desmos activity, one stations was with the teacher going over a quiz, and one was this. They rotated in large groups. You could do this as a stand alone activity as well. The directions are for the factoring stations but you can make a copy and edit how you would like. I printed on colored paper but all g
This activity helps students practice and remediate their mistakes in simplifying rational expressions, multiplying rational expressions, and dividing rational expressions. There are three in-depth problems on this worksheet, to be used for a practice or review of the content.
Directions: Students will sit face to face with a partner. (I usually create a circle of desks around the room with an inner circle and an outer circle.) They each are given a different problem but will end up getting ma
This worksheet goes through each step needed to understand where the unit circle comes from and how to create it. Also, tips and tricks to fill in all quadrants. In the end, students can create the entire unit circle from scratch without necessarily memorizing all aspects. Answer Key provided.
Systems of Equations pre-quiz stations. There are 6 stations. You could use this for anything but I used it in a 90-minute block, before a quiz on systems.
There is a station for each method, inequalities, 3X3 and a word problem.
EDIT: Sorry the graphing problem should have a "y" after each of the 27's.
This powerpoint reviews simplifying rational expressions, adding and subtracting rational expressions, and multiplying and dividing rational expressions. You can use this as a review powerpoint
TASK CARDS: I printed the powerpoint "Two slides to a page" and they were the perfect size for task cards. I printed on card stock and laminated and the kids loved it!
Students sit with a partner or a group and cards get passed when the 4 minute timer goes off. During that time the teacher can give on
I had students play the game around the world, but with transformations notation! If you haven't played around the world: The first and second students in the first row stand up, the transformation is shown on the board and the first person to describe the transformation moves on the next person in the row to compete against them. This continues down the rows until someone gets all the way around the room.
Task cards for Laws/Rules of Exponents. Simplifying exponents. In this download there is an answer sheet for students as well as an answer key. You could use this as centers.
This activity is for beginners to graphing quadratics in vertex form. Without having to graph the function itself, students will drag and drop the correct graph to the correct equation and find the axis of symmetry and vertex. This is good for teaching students a "drag and drop" feature for online state testing platforms. Students will submit online after editing the document or you could do cut and paste for hands on no technology.
