Two-page activity in which students must find quotients and remainders for problems involving different combinations of family members sharing certain foods/materials. Problems range from 2-by-1 division to 4-by-1 division. Can also be used as a pre- or post-assessment on the skill of division. This activity is aimed at 4th grade (specifically 4NBT6), but could be used for 3rd or 5th graders.

A page of word problems centered on the skill of rounding. Problems include numbers ranging from the tens to the hundred-thousands. Students must decide based on the problem's context which place makes the most sense. One problem involves students evaluating the work of others--deciding if the way that someone has chosen to round makes sense in the context of the problem.
