This form gives you an easy way to let others know some specifics about a child with behavior issues. This form breaks down what all stages of the crisis scale look like on the students and ways to reward or deescalate the situation. I found that this is very helpful for general education teachers and even bus drivers as a guide of what not to do in certain situations with children with behavior or emotional disorders.
I would recommend giving this to any teacher who will be interact with c
Data is always important!! Sometimes it can save your hind end. Using this data sheet, you can easily show anyone who asks when a child was taken to the bathroom (or changed as the case may be) and who took care of them. In the case of a life skills or CDC class, you will also be able to show if the child initiated the process, which could potentially be part of their IEP. This is instant progress monitoring that you can view daily.
This sheet can also help protect you in the event a parent
This product provides a "plan book" approach to weekly planning in a CDC classroom. Because I have many different groups working on several different levels, I am able to go in and quickly change plans for the next week, and leave anything that will not be changing. It's really easy to work with:
1. Label columns with the different groups/students you have throughout the day.
2. For each day, give an abbreviated list of what activities you will be doing with each group. Make sure to give pag
Classroom Zoning plan template, designed for 1 teacher and 3 assistants. This can easily be converted for a regular ed classroom or for different timing, as my classroom is on a 30 minute rotation.
Data Collection grid for IEP goals. Set to use for a 9 weeks system, but can easily be adapted to 6 weeks. Very helpful for progress monitoring.
*Note, file extension says page 1 of 2 but both pages are on the file.
A graphic organizer to show the 5 causes of the Civil War. Created by myself and the teacher I did student teaching with many years ago. At the time, it aligned with state standards as relates to the Civil War. Not sure if it still does, but hopefully can be helpful.
Observation coming up? Need your standards to post? In this file, I have typed out both Math and ELA common core standards, ready to print and post. As a bonus treat, I have also included the I can statements. Lots of bang for the buck.
Do you ever find that you have trouble knowing when kids need help? Look no further! Print out this sign and fold it into a triangle sign so that the kids can turn it your way to see what they need. You could also cut these into strips, attach velcro, and make it so that only one sign has to show. The strips can be helpful for special needs kids. These can even work as exit tickets. Enjoy!!
It is mandated that a list of people who are allowed to access your IEP files be posted in plain view. This provides an easy format for you to fill in and update year to year.
