Here is a list of possible projects that students can make or research in a study of the the United States. The list is divided into regions: Pacific, New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Great Lakes, and Great Plains. I will upload the Rocky Mountain States shortly. Students choose one project based on what they feel are their strengths. This is a list of questions based on the what has happened on that particular month and day. While most of the questions are historical, there are some geographical questions. For each question, there are five possible choices. The way it works in my class is that students research the question at home and come to class in the morning and make their guess on a small piece of paper and put it in the History Mystery box.
