Mizenko Math Lessons

This is a hands on, student-centered activity that has students measuring the volume of a drip of water using science equipment and basic math calculations. Students generate a linear equation and do many conversions. Four weeks into remote learning, I am finally reviewing Quadratics. We skipped quadratic formula and completing the square to avoid tremendous amounts of confusion and misconceptions. This review is written at a level the students can (hopefully) follow. It reviews how to do each type of problem, gives a few practice problems, then shows step-by-step how to complete each problem.
