Students can write down vocabulary words in one group together. They are asked to use dictionary skills along with language arts skills. They will write down the vocab. word, guide words on the dictionary page, break the new word apart writing the prefix and/or suffix if there are any, root word, definition, part of speech and use the word in a sentence.

There are different situations where the students will be asked to convert a decimal to a percent, ratio or fraction; a ratio to a fraction, decimal, and percent; fraction to a percent,decimal and ratio; percent to a fraction, decimal, and ratio.

This is a class activity that you have students work on as class work, or simply an activity. You can assign specific students to solve certain problems and show their work for the class or have each student solve them all. These problems can be used multiple ways. For scavenger hunt post problems around the room you can check student's work for each problem by assigning a token for each or have students work all problems and turn them in to you when they are done.

Students will solve for variables by preforming 1 step functions of multiplying or dividing.

Students are given a set of rational numbers and will plot them in the correct spots on the number line. They will then look to see if they have a set of numbers that are the opposites of each other and list them at the bottom of the sheet.

This is a spelling test from Harcourt spelling list. Students are given four choices on how to spell one word. They are asked to choose the correct spelling. This is great for giving a modified spelling test for students with IEPs or even to use as a test prep for standardized testing.

Students will match up the numbers to the correct absolute value. This can be done as classwork, math center, or even group work. This is a easy set up activity to do. All that is needed is copies of the puzzle pieces, and a paper to glue the puzzle together.

This is best for the standard EE. 01 this is a lesson complete with an Exit Ticket to ensure students understood the lesson and activity/worksheet.

Students are given vocabulary words, a picture and definition. Students will cut each part out and will match the correct set of word, picture and definition then glue them to another piece of paper.

This is a multiple choice spelling Test. Students are given four different choices of spelling for one word. They are asked to circle the correct spelling of each word. This helps with spelling test modifications, or simply preparing students for standardized testing.
