Number search that requires students to first convert a number from extended notation into numbers, then they need to find the number within the wordsearch. Includes 2 different wordsearches, one with four digit numbers and one with five digit numbers. There is also room within the boxes for students to write the given number in words.

Step by step detailed slides demonstrating how to use the chunking strategy to solve subtraction problems. Students will be shown how to subtract the smaller number from the larger number. Starting with subtracting the ones of the smaller number from the larger number, then the tens, hundreds and so on. Students have the opportunity to practise independently.
