Step by step detailed slides demonstrating how to use the chunking strategy to solve subtraction problems. Students will be shown how to subtract the smaller number from the larger number. Starting with subtracting the ones of the smaller number from the larger number, then the tens, hundreds and so on. Students have the opportunity to practise independently.
