Perfect for a Child Development or Parenting class to review of the basic growth and development of an infant. Students will answer basic questions, list or illustrate the progression of how babies will learn new motor development skills including the average age that these skills develop. Students are also asked to illustrate a baby using accurate dimensions.

Take your students on a trip around the world! Help students discover the world around us by giving them a chance to sample cuisine from around the world and learn about different global cultures. Students will research a country, create a trifold focusing on food and culture, cook a dish from their chosen country, and celebrate with a gallery walk and food tasting. *Rubric and gallery walk worksheet are included.

Students will be engaged in the chapter information by creating their own grocery bag summary. In addition to decorating and summarizing the outside of the bag, students will also be prompted to include 5 show-and-tell items in the bag to discuss during their presentation of the assigned chapter. A rubric is included with the student instructions.

A suitable companion for any gallery walk, this guided note sheet will encourage critical thinking among your students. Students will take notes as they explore other students' works. A gallery walk is a great way to get students engaged in their learning. A self-evaluation page is included.

Entice your students to read more! Create a space for them to find books in your room, especially for those early finishers. Use this decor to highlight what you are reading and what you have previously read. Included in this file are all of the signs you will need to make your display and bookmarks in color and in black and white. Print, laminate, and cut out the signs. Create a reading challenge to go along with your reading corner. Perhaps offer a prize for participating students.
