Teaching students how to apologize means showing them how to take ownership, reflect on their actions, and rebuild trust with the person they hurt. That’s where the 4 Part Apology comes in. Teaching style

My students learn best when learning has meaning and in a context they can relate to their lives. I work to help students find meaning in math, joyfully problem solve, and soak in the satisfaction of tackling a challenging task. I also know that students thrive when their social emotional needs are met, so we always are in search of creating a classroom community to support every problem solver.
