About the store
My teaching experience includes 19 years, in senior high and middle school, in public schools, private schools and a charter school. I taught math, math intervention, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, earth science, physical science and physics.
My volunteering in schools lasted 28 years, spanning K - 12, with most of the years in elementary and middle school. I have been a classroom helper, taught before or after school remediation or enrichment, coached for MathCounts, science fairs and Science Olympiad as well as chaperoned for field trips and competitions.

What Is the Final Number?
Students will need to think and listen as the teacher reads about a number and then what happens to it, then asks, "What is the final number?" There are twenty scenarios. Enjoy! The answer key is included.

Adding Integers Competitions
Let your students learn to enjoy adding positive and negative integers by having competitions. They will be motivated to be fast and accurate. They use decks of cards from which the jokers and face cards have been removed, the black numbers will represent positive integers and the red numbers will represent negative integers. This competition may be done as small groups of students so that all students must engage in the competition. They will accomplish a lot of problems in a short amount

Experience

Teaching style
My teaching, and now my tutoring, has morphed to incorporating visuals and hands-on activities, mental math and worksheets to help students 'see' the math concept, understand it and then practice the topic. I also have developed over 250 sets of flash cards for students to practice dozens of topics.
My goal for having a store in TpT is to provide teachers and homeschoolers with very helpful materials so they can help students 'see' and understand the concepts and then practice, practice, practice to develop speed and accuracy.

AAS for Medical Technology, BS for Composite Math and Science Education, various Masters level classes.
Additional biographical information
My small business, Math ETC LLC, has a large math website with over 12,000 problems (and more to come) as well as eight math game apps (and more to come). The math game apps have been downloaded over 300,000 times, in over 120 countries on six continents.
