Help your students get started with their Reciprocal Teaching role by giving them sentence starters. Cut the pages into half-sheets so that each student can have their own sentence starter card. When it is time to engage each other in a discussion about the text, students will be able to use the cards to generate their own questions, predictions, and summaries.
